Funniest Kids

Ok, so I haven't posted in a while and now, in the last week, I have TWO great stories for you!

Story One

The other day, on the way to the daycare, the boys and I were discussing the days of the week and when Daddy would be home from his work trip.
Mommy: "Today is Tuesday. Daddy gets home tomorrow. That's Wednesday. And it's Tumblebus day! And pancake day!"
Evan: "Daddy gets home on Tumblebus day and pancake day!"
Aiden: "Pancake day!"
Mommy: "That's right! Pancake Day!"
Aiden: "Pancakes!"
Evan: "So what is today, Mommy?"
Mommy: "Well, today is Tuesday, but it's not anything. It could be Cheeseburger Tuesday if you keep all of your Frogs today!"
Evan: "Cheeseburger day?"
Aiden: "Cheeseburger!"
Evan: "I think it's Chocolate Tuesday!"
Mommy: "Chocolate Tuesday?! HA! That's very funny, Evan!"
Evan: "I tricked you, Mommy!"
Mommy: "Yes - haha - you told a joke! That was great!"
Evan: "Yeah, a joke."


Story Two

I asked the boys last night at dinner if they'd like to go to Mama and Papa's for Easter dinner.
Boys: "YES!!"
Mommy: "And you know what? I bet that Mama and Papa will have candy for you."
Evan: "And I am going to eat my dinner all gone and tell Mama."
Aiden: "Mama Papa have candy?"
Mommy: "I bet they will!"
Aiden: "Papa give me candy?"
Mommy: "I am sure he will!"
Aiden: "Papa give me Skittles??"
Mommy: "HA! He just might give you Skittles!"
